I think keeping this one makes me happy,  I bought it in Germany after Laura was born. You would drive into a village and there would be a nest at the top of a pole, right in the town square.  That whole idea about storks bringing babies is a crazy thing but it reminds me of Laura being born in Germany 27 years ago, It is only about 5 inches high.  It is interesting how one (me) justifies keeping stuff.

  1. You can take that one to the nursing home with you if you ever have to go. It will make you smile, sitting on your dresser!

  2. Go with your gut. It IS cute even without the personal association.

  3. If you have a deep, personal, emotional connection to an item, then by all means keep it. However, if you just “like” it, perhaps ask yourself if you would be really sad if one day you no longer had it. If you would be quite sad, then keep it. But if you wouldn’t really ‘miss’ it, perhaps it’s time to let it go?

  4. I don’t think you are really asking for a vote on this one are you??!

  5. Love storks…..it is such a good memory from Germany seeing all the stork nests at Muggendorf. I agree with everyone above! 🙂
