About me and why I’m posting

I’m an empty nester. Kids all grown and gone from the city. Trying to declutter my 5 BDRM home in order to downsize and move. Having difficulty in throwing things away.

Just trying to become more aware of the stuff I store and examining it. Documenting the downsize effort with the help of blog readers who are not attached to the “things”. My son told me about the TV programs where a team comes in and organizes and pitches the junk.

I think this blog is so cool. It is another outlet for working through emotional decisions that come up with de-cluttering. Can’t wait to see how it works out. Very modern
