I made this needlepoint pillow for my Aunt who is now 95 and had it cleaned and returned to me. My dad gave me the sheet of stamps. Guess I could look up what year it cost 13 cents for first class mail.

  1. I must be in an unsentimental mood lately!

  2. I think it’s lovely and that you should hang onto it – doesn’t take up much room does it?

  3. This would be hard for me to get rid of. Beautiful pillow. Did you design it? I love the perforations marks!

  4. You worked hard on that pillow and it IS beautiful! I’d say hang onto the pillow. The stamps you can get rid of though, unless you want to frame them and keep them near the pillow on a wall.

  5. I think it’s interesting (and telling) that your aunt returned the pillow to you – perhaps she can be a model of simplification for you to emulate? Time to pass these items along to someone else…
