Going back to Fall 1970.  This pamphlet was distributed to West Point Cadets to give to their girlfriends on what to wear when you go to West Point for the Weekend.  Wonder if they still pass out fashion hints in 2011.  Found in the bottom of a desk drawer.  The sketches look like a Simplicity or Butterick Catalog.

  1. That is quite a neat little historic artifact!

  2. Our tax dollars at work? Too funny.

  3. Classic – scan – then pitch I think?

  4. I *totally* remember those Simplicity/Butterick sketches! Oh, how many hours I spent in the fabric shop with my mom when I was a kid… Wow, memories…

Scan, then pitch. Good stuff. I’m telling’ ya, a photo book is SO in order!

  5. i think some people could use some of this advice now! make copies and distribute accordingly.
