I have three Swedish Horses. My dad gave me one from Liliastrum’s Deli in NJ and another from a Swedish store in Rockford IL. Our family used to get loaves of limpa bread and sharp cheddar cheese or the port wine cheese to spread on, wrapped up in white butcher paper. One of the blue horses was brought as a souvenir from friends who went to Sweden from where we were stationed in Germany. The red one is the oldest. I went online and learned they have have been a tradition in Scandinavian countries for over 300 years (click here for more info about the Dala Horse)
Keep or Pitch? 
Surely one of your children would love to have these interesting items.
I voted keep but my second vote is that I would love these horses!
