My mother used this on the kitchen table for years. It was always polished.  I found it in a box.  I think I will polish it and see if I can use it.  She used to put butter in it in another dish inside.  Using baking soda as silver polish seems to work if you do it!

    This one is pretty, and small, and has both meaning and charm. I vote polish and keep – and remember and smile. 🙂
