Back from a week’s vacation with the family in Columbus.

The first night I was there I photographed my grandmother’s afghan and wrote the story about how it came to be in Laura’s home.  But then I thought, I didn’t plan ahead too well.  I didn’t take a week’s worth of photos to post.  And went into the computer and found the little bell pull and the mini washstand but decided to just wait until I got back home to my stuff to start up again.  You really can’t go around someone else’s home and photograph for your own Keep or Pitch blog, but I did see some lawn ornaments down the street that might have been a good shot. I should have invited guest bloggers to send a pic of something they were deciding to keep or pitch.  Like Antiques Roadshow….well, not quite….

I like to drink out of mugs that are white or cream colored, not black or navy.

  1. Isn’t it funny how we are drawn to certain characteristics of things? You choose a mug for its color. I find myself using the same mug 90% of the time because I like its “thinner” feel on my mouth.

  2. I like mugs by the way the handle feels… we all have our ‘quirks’.

I love the idea of you hosting guest bloggers for a spell!
